And road in an old fashioned fire engine.

After all that we had a hot dog and went home happy! What a blast!

All American Apple Pie

Well, we did it! I have always wanted to make an apple pie from scratch. Now I can say I have done it. Haven't tasted it yet, but it's not about the product, it's about the process...right?! I'll keep you posted.

Ok! I am just going to do a quick post...perhaps this will get me going on the blog thing again. Quick update for any who may not know, we decided to start homeschooling Christopher about a month ago. All is well now. We are enjoying it immensely now that we have a routine.

I just started a Facebook account, so we will see how well I can keep up with that.

My brother-in-law, Jojo just returned from China again after only being gone for 1 month so that he could complete his citizenship requirements...he just got sworn in on Tue...HOORAY! Poor Heather is left in China by herself, eagerly awaiting his return with two wild boys hanging off her wondering where their "Tataiy" went.

CBS (Community Bible Study) started about a month ago...which means I am gone all morning on Tue. and Wed. (so don't expect to find me sitting on my duff at home then). Steve starts his men's bible study on the last Wed. evening of this month (so he will be sitting on his duff, just not here at home).
